The genesis for Fernleaf Consulting came during the first COVID lockdown in New Zealand in 2020. It was clear small business across the country struggled to keep their lights on, continue to pay their staff and quite simply, just survive. 

As technologists, we wondered how much expenditure was going towards technology, especially technology that either wasn’t used effectively or simply not used at all. How much of this expenditure could be released to be fed back into the business, the continue to pay staff and to keep the business operational?

We setup Fernleaf Consulting to support small to mid-sized business to improve their investment in and use of digital technology.

Drawing from 30+ years’ experience, we work to optimize digital investment and cost savings we find can be invested back in the business.
